I go by the nickname of indekkusu (Index in Japanese) and was born and raised in Singapore. How I came up with this nickname was from the anime series A Certain Scientific Railgun😆.

To provide some learning inspiration, I started off my diploma education in IT at the Singapore Polytechnic in 2016 and advanced to a degree in Cybersecurity at the National University of Singapore in 2021. How time flies!

While in school, I explored different fields of Cybersecurity by taking up internships, certifications (e.g. OSCP, BSCP) and participate in CTF/Bug bounty programs. Though red teaming (offensive) roles seemed interesting to me at first, my interest has shifted to blue teaming (defensive) roles when I got my first job as a Security Engineer😅.

In Index's Library, you can explore different technologies that you may be interested in! My aim is to learn new technologies and to give back by teaching in a simple way.

Regardless if you are a student, or a working adult and am interested in the IT sector, find your passion and work towards the field that you are keen in!

略歴についてなのですが、2016年に専門学校でITを専攻し、2021年に大学でサイバーセキュリティを専攻し、現在はセキュリティエンジニアとして働いています。😌
